The Bride
A short snippet about the bride.
Kimberly grew up in Kenya, spending her childhood in Nairobi surrounded by her large family. After completing her medical studies in London, she eventually settled in Kent, just 15 minutes away from Ross and his beloved birds. Family remains a central part of her life as she embraces the joys of community and service.
The Groom
A short snippet about the groom.
Ross was born in England and spent much of his childhood in Uruguay, moving back to Bromley, London, for his high school. Ross has always been fascinated by animals; he now spends his days as a falconer. He lives in the countryside with his two working dogs and eight birds of prey. Ross cherishes loyalty and nature, believing they are essential components of a fulfilling life.
Travel Tips
-
We advise securing your flights as soon as possible to ensure you obtain the best fares. You have the option to fly into Nairobi International Airport or directly to the coast via Mombasa International Airport.
-
There are several ways to reach Watamu. You can choose to travel by train, take a swift one-hour flight, or savor the charming landscapes on a six-hour road trip. We particularly recommend the luxurious train journey that traverses the stunning Tsavo National Park, offering a unique and memorable experience.
-
Our only tip is to book things early! It can save you valuable time, money, and energy. Consider making it an adventure by exploring the breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture of Kenya.
-
In Kenya, contactless payments and most credit cards are commonly accepted. However, the predominant payment method is Mpesa, a mobile payment platform that, while highly prevalent, may require a slightly more intricate setup. For short visits, cards will work just fine. We also recommend carrying cash for tips.
